We are actively searching for an incredible visionary who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves to run our Education and Training Department!

     

    The Director of Education and Training will lead the charge in developing a strategic and comprehensive education and training program that is scalable for our growing business. The Director of Education and Training is a key leader in evaluating current education and operations practices and rolling out elevated content to improve our growing business. We are seeking a Director of Education and Training who is experienced, self-starting, driven, excited to solve complex business problems, and a proven leader.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and manage all education strategies and initiatives to ensure consistency and visible growth
    • Direct and manage the planning and execution of all field education; including in salon education, local education events, certification training, and special events
    • Recruit, train and manage a network of Artistic/LEAD Educators
    • Partner with VP of Shops and Director of Operations to develop sell-through strategies and initiatives and effectively leverage sales through education
    • Design and format the curriculum for new stylist programs and for Drybar products
    • Evaluate and elevate Shop Manager training program
    • Strategically plan and manage all field education and special events
    • Develop annual education calendars and strategically grow product/service in our shops
    • Train and supported field team on Drybar products and services, assist them in surpassing goals and key initiatives to produce visible results
    • Present at all education events and brand launches and deliver key initiatives during sales meetings and local education trainings
    • Produce reports designed to track sales through education and quantify impact of new programs

    Qualifications

    • 7+ years’ experience in developing educational materials and designing training programs
    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required
    • Preferred industry experience: salon, beauty, retail, restaurant, service-based business
    • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
    • Ability to modify communication to easily connect with different audiences
    • Resourceful and self-driven. Excited to build solutions to complex challenges.
    • Proven leadership capabilities in developing a team
    • 10-15% Travel
