Overview

We are Drybar, the pioneer in the blow out bar business. We set out in 2010 with one, small shop in Los Angeles and one big mission: to shake up the beauty industry. Since then, our specialty just blowouts salon has grown to over 80 locations across 20 markets. Along the way, we also launched our own product line that is crafted for the perfect blowout, retailed in our Drybar shops, Sephora, Nordstrom, Ulta, and Bloomingdales. We are looking to build out our product supply chain group with a Supply Chain Procurement Manager. 

 

The Supply Chain Procurement Manager will lead and manage all processes related to product supply planning, costing, purchasing, quality, and end delivery. This role requires strong problem solving skills and experience leading projects of moderate scope and complexity in a fast-paced global supply chain that is part of a dynamic startup corporation.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary strategic interface with the supply base (Finished goods, Raw Components, Packaging, and Packout) on both short term execution and long term relationship.
  • Ensure the supply plans are dynamically linked to the detail demand plans for the business to balance customer service, cost of goods, and inventory levels.
  • Plan, execute, and provide oversight for the procurement of finished goods and raw materials from global contract manufacturers and suppliers with emphasis on quality, cost, quantity and timely delivery.
  • Develop and lead Supplier Management program in partnership with internal quality partners and external suppliers to maintain world class quality levels and to qualify and on board potential new suppliers that includes supplier contract setup standardization, supplier scorecard measurement, performance improvement plans, supplier base optimization/rationalization, and business continuity.
  • Serve as the product supply cost leader that includes tactical component/BOM cost ownership as well as the development and leadership of a Supplier Cost Improvement program that is multi-generational and that links to the business plans, master data and systems while maintaining world class quality
  • Provide project management for all product promotional builds (kits, bundles, samples)
  • Serve as the supply leader in the new product development process
  • Serve as the Supply Chain SME for NetSuite ERP tool and ensure all departments and processes are integrated to maximize business performance as well as to ensure product transactions are compliant within financial accounting systems
  • Manage component Inventory levels and component SLOB management
  • Manage component/BOM master data in NetSuite
  • Support phase ins/outs to limit supply interruption
  • Serve as backup product demand management
  • Serve as backup to other master data management
  • Serve as backup to quality assurance process
  • Serve as backup to product sales forecast and budgeting processes
  • Other duties as assigned by manager
  • Manage consultants and/or service partners where applicable and necessary

Qualifications

  • Expert level knowledge in Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office tools
  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, etc.)
  • APICS, Six Sigma, and manufacturing experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of demand and supply planning processes and strategy, and enabling systems and tools
  • Exceptional understanding of departments and intercompany business practices beyond supply planning
  • Demonstrable project management experience
  • BA/BS in finance/economics/international business/supply chain management
