We are actively seeking an Education & Training Manager to support our 3,000+ hair stylists coast to coast from an education and quality perspective! 


    The Education & Training Manager is responsible for delivering exciting, on-trend, and motivating technical hair and product training to the field that ensures all shop team members are able to deliver the brand promise with each and every client. This position will create and maintain blowout and product training program across Drybar shops. Our dream Education & Training Manager truly enjoys and understands the retail beauty environment, possesses a high level of experience in content development and has exceptional people skills. 

    This position must be based out of the Los Angeles, CA or New York, NY areas.

    • Develop an entire blowout and product training program which includes creating content for trainers and that upholds Drybar’s standards.
    • Manage the stylists’ Rate Your Blowout (“RYB”) scores.
    • Supervises training and development programs for Lead Educators that should increase productivity and quality of work while building team member satisfaction and brand loyalty.
    • Assesses development needs to drive blowout and product training initiatives. Identifies and arranges suitable training solutions for team members. 
    • Host/facilitate a biannual continuing education for Lead Educators.
    • Responsible for creating and executing training calendar for new product and style launches.
    • Manages Lead Educators quarterly results.
    • Coach and assess product training effectiveness based on sales.
    • Acts as a liaison to create content and support for state blowout licenses.
    • Assist with the planning and execution of blowout and product education strategy. 
    • Attends and coordinates education logistics for trade shows.
    • Manages technical education for new shop openings.
    • Keep current technically, by participating in industry trainings and self-education about beauty trends.
    • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ensure that a coaching culture is present with team.
    • Maintains high level of accomplishment with minimal supervision.
    • Performs other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.


    • Minimum of 3 years in designing and creating company training programs preferably in the beauty, hospitality or retail industry.
    • Previous experience managing training teams or trainers required.
    • Demonstrated experience in needs analysis and curriculum development.
    • Ability to travel 75% of time.
    • Cosmetology license required.
